AFTER

The house was a 1960s ranch style rambler. The client wanted to turn it into a cottage style home which in turn needed a cottage style landscape. We put a lot of thought into this challenging conversion. We used a tumbled brick for the front sidewalk and stoop to give the cobblestone look. We wanted the stoop to be warm and inviting. We designed it so that large flower pots could be put up against the house.

We reused certain materials because this house was Green Certified and the materials worked well with the cottage style garden.
